Trisha Addicks has garnered international media attention for her expertise in sorority rush preparation and her work building confidence in young women. She has been featured on the front page of the Wall Street Journal and covered by The Cut, ELLE France, and the Daily Mail, and appeared in the hit 2023 MAX documentary Bama Rush, among numerous other national and international outlets. She is the author of "The Rush Bible", published by Simon & Schuster, that will be released in May 2026.

Born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, Trisha earned her degree from the University of Georgia, where she pledged Chi Omega sorority and met her future husband at a fraternity party, cementing her deep connection to Greek life culture.

After two decades of providing informal sorority rush coaching to hundreds of young women, Trisha officially launched her rush consulting business, "It's All Greek to Me," in 2017. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, her company specializes in sorority recruitment preparation, rush week coaching, and Greek life guidance for prospective sorority members nationwide.

The Recruitment Advantage: Winning Rush with Strategy & Confidence!

Successful recruitment isn’t about being the loudest in the room or having the “perfect” resume — it’s about preparation, self-awareness, and confidence. In this session, Trisha breaks down what makes a potential new member stand out during recruitment and how to approach each round with clarity and composure. She shares practical conversation strategies, mindset shifts, and preparation techniques that eliminate guesswork and replace anxiety with intention. Students learn how to highlight their strengths authentically, read the room, and build genuine connections that leave a lasting impression.

More importantly, Trisha teaches young women how to walk into recruitment knowing their worth — not chasing validation. From managing expectations and handling setbacks to staying poised through high-pressure moments, attendees gain tools to navigate every stage of the process with confidence. This session empowers students to stop overthinking, stop comparing, and start showing up as their strongest, most prepared selves.

Learning Objectives:
• Identify key factors that influence recruitment success beyond grades and resumes.
• Apply conversation strategies that foster authentic, memorable connections during recruitment rounds.
• Demonstrate techniques for managing nerves and maintaining composure in high-pressure social settings.
• Develop a personalized preparation plan for each stage of recruitment.
• Recognize and avoid common recruitment mistakes that negatively impact outcomes.
• Implement mindset strategies that reduce comparison and build genuine self-confidence.
• Navigate setbacks or unexpected outcomes with resilience and emotional maturity.

Beyond the Bid: Thriving in Greek Life After Recruitment

Getting a bid is just the beginning. This session focuses on how to build meaningful relationships, strengthen chapter involvement, and avoid common pitfalls once recruitment ends. Trisha shares actionable advice on leadership development, academic balance, social media awareness, and creating a positive sorority experience that extends well beyond freshman year. Drawing from years of hands-on mentorship and consulting experience, she equips students with clear strategies for navigating chapter dynamics, standing out for the right reasons, and positioning themselves for leadership opportunities early in their college careers. Students leave with a roadmap for thriving — not just surviving — in Greek life.

Beyond recruitment, Trisha dives into what it truly means to stay engaged and relevant within a chapter and on campus. She provides practical guidance on how to get involved in committees, pursue leadership roles, maintain academic excellence, and cultivate authentic friendships that strengthen chapter culture. Students will also learn how to present themselves with confidence — both in person and online — understanding that reputation, professionalism, and digital presence play a critical role in long-term success. Through her ongoing mentorship programs, workshops, and educational resources, Trisha offers continued support to help young women grow into confident, polished leaders who represent their chapters and themselves with integrity.

Learning Objectives:
• Identify strategies for building meaningful relationships within their chapter and strengthening long-term involvement.
• Develop a personal plan for pursuing leadership opportunities and committee engagement.
• Recognize common post-recruitment pitfalls and implement strategies to avoid disengagement.
• Apply practical techniques for balancing academics, social commitments, and sorority responsibilities.
• Evaluate and enhance their personal brand, including social media presence and in-person professionalism.
• Demonstrate increased confidence in representing themselves and their chapter both on campus and online.

The COB Advantage: Growing Your Chapter Through Continuous Open Bidding

Continuous Open Bidding (COB) is often misunderstood within Panhellenic communities. While many people view COB as a backup plan after formal recruitment, the truth is that COB can be a powerful and intentional strategy for growing a chapter with members who may not have connected with the traditional recruitment experience. For campuses where students feel intimidated by formal recruitment—or where chapters regularly fall below chapter total—COB can be the key to sustainable membership growth and stronger sisterhood.

In this interactive program, participants will learn how to turn COB into a strategic advantage rather than a reactive process. Attendees will explore how to identify and connect with potential new members year-round, create authentic recruitment experiences that showcase their chapter’s personality, and develop simple systems for tracking interest and building relationships. Through practical strategies and real-world examples, chapters will leave with a clear plan for using Continuous Open Bidding to attract women who truly belong in their sisterhood.

Learning Objectives
• Understand the Strategic Role of COB
Participants will gain a clear understanding of how Continuous Open Bidding works within the Panhellenic structure and why it is an essential tool for maintaining chapter health.
• Identify and Engage Potential New Members Year-Round
Students will learn how to recognize recruitment opportunities throughout the academic year and build authentic relationships with women who may not participate in formal recruitment.
• Design Meaningful and Low-Pressure COB Events
Participants will explore creative event formats that allow chapters to showcase their culture, values, and sisterhood in a relaxed environment that encourages genuine connection.
• Build a Sustainable COB Strategy
Students will develop a practical system for tracking interest, coordinating member outreach, and maintaining a consistent pipeline of potential new members to support long-term chapter growth.
